What we collect

When you use our enquiry form, call us or email us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, property address or postcode, and any details you give us about the work you need. We do not ask for payment card details through this website.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange a survey.
• To prepare and send you a quotation.
• To carry out any work you instruct, and to issue certification.
• To keep records we are required to keep as a NICEIC Approved Contractor.

Our lawful bases are your consent (when you contact us), the performance of a contract (when you instruct work), and our legal obligations (record keeping and certification).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We may share it with our certification body where notification of work is required, and with service providers who help us operate the business (for example email and website hosting). Those providers act on our instructions only.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only as long as they are useful, and then deleted. Records relating to work carried out, including certificates and test results, are retained for as long as required for regulatory, warranty and insurance purposes.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
